The foundation of D3 began long before the company itself existed.
It started in Robbie's grandfather's workshop and continued on the job sites where he learned the trade alongside his family. Building wasn't something he simply chose as a career. It was something he grew up around.
From the beginning, the standard was simple:
"If you build something, build it to outlast you."
Those early lessons shaped the way D3 approaches every project today.
Over time, that respect for craftsmanship evolved into something more. A backyard shouldn't feel like an afterthought or a collection of structures added over time. With more than fifteen years of hands-on construction experience, Robbie has spent his career learning what truly makes outdoor structures last.
From early framing work to complex backyard transformations, he developed the construction standards that now guide the D3 team.
